Many factors go into making a reproduction looks as much like your original artwork as possible. The size, finish, texture, medium of the original artwork affect the time it takes to properly scan and adjust a digital file. When the ink is digitally sprayed onto the canvas or paper, the white points and coatings and textures of the media affect how the colors appear. With so many variants, it is no surprise that the cost of scanning and adjusting a digital file will vary.
The charts below represent the price of a scan and basic cleanup of a digital file, according to the type and size of artwork and the digital resolution requested. If you would like to see how your file prints on the media you select for your reproduction without our performing a color match or file adjustment, we will include a test strip with your scan at no additional charge. If you would like for us to color match your work to the paper or canvas, then we will assess your work when we receive it and estimate the additional time needed to adjust the files. Color matching and file adjustments are charged at the rate of $30 per 15 minutes. Test strips or 9x12 proofs can be purchased for $15 a strip.
