The outer 1.75" of the printed canvas is wrapped
around the sides of the canvas stretcher. There is no addition to the
composition, as in "Color-wrap."
The image area that wraps to the sides is lost from the
face of the artwork. The original composition is cropped almost 2" all around.

IMPORTANT: Gallery-wrap requires careful consideration
and planning by the artist because the cropping effect
of Gallery Wrap is often unacceptable.
Please check carefully to be sure your composition will still look good after cropping
for Gallery-wrap.
To avoid cropping, use the
Color-Wrap option instead, or create 2" of extra image around your composition
that we can use to wrap around the stretcher.
ADDITIONAL COST: The price of stretching
increases to cover the larger printed area required for wrapping.
Wrapping adds nearly 4" to the
width and length of the printed area. Depending on the frame
size, the printed area will be 20%-100% larger than normal. |
